Flipside Wallet 2x

I just bought myself a Flipside wallet about an hour ago, and i must say, I'm already excited for it to come in the mail. It's products like this that change the way people look at things. I never have really thought of a hard wallet except for those fold out ones from the as seen on TV commercials. While I'm on the topic, I really didn't like the aluminum wallet from those annoying TV commercials. It's a cool idea and all but the design of it felt flimsy and you could tell it would be easily scratched. I had mine for about 2 days before returning it. Anyway, this Flipside wallet is awesome. It can hold a large amount of cards and money and yet it still is under an inch thick. The wallet also blocks RFID which is good for those who are paranoid by this new breed of sneaky thieves. They also came out with a new minimalist design wallet too, a few weeks ago. This design is good for those who don't like bulky pockets. I got mine in the color grey, but the other colors they have are pretty slick too, I just liked grey. If you order before midnight tonight, you can get $5 off by using the code TURKEY. You can buy and view their designs here.

myCharge Peak 6000 Portable Charger

Well, as my first post I figured I would review a product I really needed for some time. I bought the charger from Bestbuy for about $100. The reason this product caught my eye was because of its high capacity battery as well as its multi-tool like characteristics. The device has three separate plugs, all attached to the device. One is the standard apple charger, the other a micro USB, and the third a standard USB for charging from a computer. The other cool thing about the device is that on the backside there is a flip out wall charger which is pretty handy. The device has a 6000 mah capacity which allows me to charge my phone (Droid RAZR 1800 mah capacity) three times with a bit left over to charge a smaller device. If the plugs that are attached to the device don't fit your device, don't worry, there is also a USB slot that allows you to plug in your own charger. Another cool feature that, as far as I know, is completely unique to the product is that it will actually speak to you or make a noise to let you know that your device is charged or needs charging. Overall, this is a great product. I leave it in my backpack for when I'm at school and my phone dies due to the fact that I forgot to charge it the night before. The portable battery was a lifesaver while it lasted during the two weeks I had no power because of hurricane sandy. This product shows that this company clearly has it together, and I will definitely purchase products in the future from them. If you don't need such a high capacity battery, you can find a number of other portable chargers with a lower capacity (and lower price) here.
